"The Grim Reaper Gets Covid19"

Writer, Director, Actor, Editor

March 2020

A short film that I made as part of the “Stuck at Home” 48 hour film project. I wrote, directed, stared in, and edited this film in 48 hours. The prompt for the challenge was to create a modern-day re-telling of a myth or legend. Special thanks to my brother for being a great stand-in actor! The film was mentioned towards the end this article: https://filmfestmagazine.com/news/filmmakers-face-challenges-during-the-48-hour-stuck-at-home-project/

"Stranger in Zion"

Post Production Audio Mixer

December 2019

I was approached by friend and fellow filmmaker Ben Grayzel about helping him work out some audio issues with his documentary film, as well do some general mix and mastering to get it ready for cinema sound systems. Most of my work involved Equalizing the narration vocals to remove annoying frequencies, reducing background noise and reverb, and cleaning up the low end in preparation for those giant cinema sub-woofers!

“Wicked Problems”

Podcast Producer / Audio Mixer

November – December 2019

I was asked by fellow student Dan Ellis to help him record a few episodes for a podcast he was creating as a senior project. He was trying to record everything himself before, on top of conducting the interviews, so I think it was a relief for him to not have to worry about setting up the mics or balancing levels throughout the interviews. Recorded in our University’s recording studio, with two AT2020s into Logic Pro X, Light compression.

Assorted Posters

Graphic Designer

2019-2020

A couple of posters I made for advertising school events. Made in photoshop from scratch.

Creativity Gate

Fabricator, Photographer

2015-2016

An art display/instillation I made for my senior project in High School. Sister piece to Treehouse on the Hill. The gate posts, gate bars, and lamp on the post were made by me, from scratch. The chair, desk, telephone, and carpet, were bought pre-made. The piece was supposed to be a metaphor for my creative self, with the small chair and desk scene meant to represent true creative freedom, and the gates representing the fears that were keeping me from getting there… or something like that, idk. Treehouse on the Hill

Fabricator, Photographer

2015-2016

An art display/instillation I made for my senior project in High School. Sister piece to Creativity Gate. I built the treehouse from scratch out of, styrofoam, balsa wood, and plaster. The grass is made of died synthetic fur. I wanted to create something that evoked a feeling of childhood nostalgia. Click on the photos to see them in High Quality!
